bioAdventures
ANGLE was engaged by Scottish Enterprise Dunbartonshire to undertake the development and operational management of the bioAdventures incubator in Glasgow.
This was a specialised incubator to accommodate and assist new start biotechnology businesses. ANGLE was responsible for managing all aspects of its facilities and services including the provision of a comprehensive portfolio of business management and development support for the centre’s tenant companies. In addition, bioAdventures had a comprehensive inventory of laboratory equipment and services.
bioAdventures was a highly successful project, the centre being filled to capacity including several new-start biotechnology companies amongst its tenants. These companies had origins in Scottish universities and hospitals and included early stage diagnosis of dementia, new approaches to immune-system focused drug development, and the isolation of new therapies and anti-addiction compounds from plants amongst the products and services they were developing.
