This is an exciting time at ANGLE and our team in Guildford are looking for a Commercial Product Manager specialising in identifying product opportunities that support the company’s strategic focus.

You will be a Product Manager who can apply expertise in building the required functionality to deliver products to market in a global diagnostics environment.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Work closely with senior management colleagues to ensure product alignment with corporate strategy.
  • Ensure launch plans are well implemented and built for success.
  • Support and reinforce the activities of the salesforce in promoting the company’s products.
  • Provide training and technical support to sales representatives and distributors as needed.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales teams to identify ways to improve the quality of lead generation and support revenue growth.
  • Work closely with R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality, on product requirements, development process, prototype testing, feedback, approvals, packaging and production.
  • Work closely with Marketing on price, forecasting, product launches, promotion collateral, product literature, exhibitions and brand integration.
  • Collaborate with the customer and R&D on the translation of requirements into product ideas.
  • Understand stock, forecast and manufacturing requirements.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Attributes:

  • Degree in a relevant life science subject. A degree in Marketing (CIM or equivalent would be desirable but not mandatory).
  • IVD product management experience.
  • Demonstrated success in product commercialisation.
  • Previous experience in sales, and marketing communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with different functional areas, organisations, distributors.
  • Be able to identify and produce succession plans and be able to train team members in product management requirements.
  • Strong business, scientific and technical aptitude.
  • Strong verbal presentation and written communication skills.
  • Results driven with a strong focus on customers both internal and external.
  • Maintains an infallible degree of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, and the production of high-quality results.
  • A flexible, can-do approach to the requirements of the job.
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and work ethic.
  • Ability to travel.

Due to the nature of the role, our requirement is for this position to be Guildford based, with flexibility to work remotely when required at the discretion of the Manager. This role is based on five days per week; however, flexibility is required when travel over weekends is required or where geographical meetings take place in different time zones.
