Office and Facilities Supervisor

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Assist in managing all aspects of UK facilities, ensuring the security, cleanliness and maintenance of the buildings are of a high standard
  • Responsibility for planning maintenance and repair workflows and adherence to H&S/Fire safety legislation linked to facilities
  • Liaise with Lab Management Team on lab specific requirements for facilities
  • Oversee facility changes as and when required
  • Manage “front desk” dealing with phone, visitors, office deliveries, email enquiries, requests, and routing messages/calls to the correct ANGLE department / employee.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Attributes:

  • Previous experience within a similar role requiring a “hands on” approach to Office / Facilities Management
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including excel and word
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong decision and problem solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment
  • Continuous learner with a keen appetite for cross-disciplinary work
  • An eye for detail and commitment to high quality data
  • A flexible, can-do approach to the requirements of the job

Due to the nature of the role, our requirement is for this position to be Guildford based, office hours, five days per week.
