Liquid biopsies involve sampling and analysis of peripheral blood to identify signs of cancer. Liquid biopsy is minimally invasive and can be undertaken safely in community clinics to provide patients with a rapid diagnosis and timely treatment with targeted therapies. Liquid biopsy may also help to safely monitor cancer patients in remission to provide early warning of recurrence.

In 2021 ANGLE opened GCLP compliant clinical laboratories in Guildford (UK) and in the Greater Philadelphia area (USA) to provide “pharma services” for cancer drug trials and, once the labs are accredited, laboratory developed tests (LDTs) for patient management. We are also pursuing an FDA product clearance for the Parsortix^® system and have submitted a full De Novo submission, which is currently in substantive review with the FDA.

This is an exciting time at ANGLE and at our facility in the Greater Philadelphia Area and are looking for an Operations Specialist.

As an Operations Specialist you will assume responsibility for a number of operational areas of the business to support ANGLE North America, coordinating purchasing, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and order processing.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Management of order processing for internal and external customers
• Responsible for transportation of all shipments from USA and main point of contact for shipments to USA from research partners, customers and other ANGLE sites
• Help with custom clearance where shipments are held by US Customs
• Management of inventory, monitoring of stock levels, timely replenishment, escalation with supplier and financial reporting
• Responsible for procurement of goods and services for the site
• Perform warehousing activities, receiving deliveries, storage, material movements
• Responsible for keeping master data and other records accurate on electronic system
• Work closely with the Operations teams outside of North America to align on processes and best practices globally
• Maintain accuracy of local operational procedures
• Perform such other duties and responsibilities that are consistent with the role of an Operations Specialist or as may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Attributes:

• Bachelor’s Degree or qualification in business, ideally focused in the area of Supply Chain Management or Logistics or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years related experience working in Supply Chain Management or Logistics
• Working knowledge of appropriate regulatory requirements (e.g. ISO13485, CLIA, OSHA, HAZCOM, cGLP or cGMP)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• High degree of attention to detail with good visual inspection skills combined with tolerance for repetitive work
• Maintains an infallible degree of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality
• Ability to recognize and respond to unexpected opportunities or risks
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrated commitment to quality of process and product
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines
• Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment
• An eye for detail and commitment to high quality data
